MacMillan Coffee Afternoon
We held a MacMillan coffee afternoon on Friday 28th September. Lots of parents and friends of the school came together to eat cake and drink coffee/tea. We raised an amazing £154.40!
Well done to everyone who came along to support the cause.
Royal Street Party 18th May 2018
On Friday 18th May we had a Royal Street Party. The Year 6 children organised and led the event which involved food, drinks and games. The Year 6 children made a toast to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and everyone raised their glasses (cups of juice!) This was followed by games such as rounder's, pin the tiara on Meghan and pin the medal on Harry.
Great fun was had by the parents, children and staff!
Class 1 fairytale afternoon
Class 1 have been exploring traditional tales this half term. We invited parents in to show them some of our fantastic work!
Class 2 and 3 have been working together in their reading every Friday since the beginning of the Spring term. Children in Class 2 have been given a reading partner from Class 3 where each week they have the opportunity to read to eachother, listen to eachother and discuss their books with eachother.
