Class 1 Home learning 4th May
We hope you are all okay and continuing to keep safe, well and enjoy your time at home!
Thank you all for sending me your pictures and instructions to make jelly! Belle, Immy and I enjoyed making some this week- we followed your instructions to make strawberry jelly, which we put fruit in and then are using today to make a trifle! I will send you some finished pictures with next week's home learning!
We have seen many posts on social media this week about homeschooling- some positive, some negative and some very competitive. Please try not to compare yourselves and your children to others, as someone much wiser than us said "we are each flowers who will bloom in our own time" and "we may be sailing the same storm but we are not all in the same boat". With this in mind, continue to do what you can, but above all stay happy and positive. Read, bake and play games together and don't worry if one day you don't do "school work", building dens, gardening, sharing stories and cooking are all great learning activities and also great for the mental health of our children and ourselves.
