PE and Sport Premium
Sport Premium is provided by the government and is allocated to schools to:
- Increase the quality and breadth of PE & Sport provision, and increase participation in PE & Sport
The funding amount received by schools is based upon the number of children of primary age at the school.
At Hadnall CofE Primary School, our P.E. and Sport Leader Mrs Coselloe is responsible for developing sport and effective use of Sport Premium. Our school already has an excellent reputation for our Sport and P.E. as we strive to promote healthy and active lifestyles and aim to provide sporting opportunities for all our pupils. We welcome the additional funding, which will further enhance our provision and provide additional opportunities for increased participation.

PE
One lesson of PE each week is led by an Activ-Sports Coach with the second session led by the class teacher. Activ-Sports also run a lunchtime club on a Tuesday.
Autumn A – Multi-skills/invasion Games

Spring A - Dance
Spring B - KS1 Throw/ Catching and KS2 Dodgeball
Summer A - KS1 Multi-Skills, Striking a ball and KS2 Rounders and Cricket
Summer B - KS1 and KS2 Athletics and Summer Games and Net and Wall Games
School Games Sports
Exciting Sporting Events took place in the Spring and Summer 19 terms:
3rd May: Orienteering for Years 5 and 6
17th May: Mini Tennis for Years 3 and 4
7th June: Mini Olympics for KS1
14th June: Rounders for KS2
28th June: Athletics for Years 5 and 6.
Sporting events are announced in the Weekly Newsletter which is sent to parents/carers on a Friday and is available on this website.
